Blues Modernism delivers what is promised: the essence of blues and blues-related music - taken into the present. With this project, drummer Snorre Kirk highlights his talent as a composer and band leader. Presenting engaging melodies and superb arrangements, he puts the spotlight on the entire band, instead of placing the focus on his own drumming, as is often the case when the drummer is the band leader.
